My journey has taken me from the front lines of policing to clinical practice, research, and organizational consulting. Over the years I’ve learned that the most meaningful change happens when knowledge and compassion meet—when evidence moves beyond theory and is put to work for real people and real communities.

Why work with me?

I combine lived experience and nationally recognized expertise. Highlights include:

  • Featured in national media interviews on trauma and policing, including CBC, Global News, and PolicingTV.
  • Led the creation of the Shared Health Manitoba Employee Wellbeing Framework, which grew into the province-wide Employee Wellbeing Hub supporting healthcare staff before, during, and after high-stress events.
  • Recipient of federal research fellowships from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), along with multiple university awards for research excellence.
